Open Monument Day Arnhem is an annual event during which Arnhem opens as many monumental buildings in the city as possible to visitors for an entire weekend. This year, they asked me to develop a new design for their visual identity to generate more attention for the event. Various components have been designed for this visual identity, such as flyers, posters, newsletters, and social media posts.

A collection inspired by Annalie van Doorn grandmother’s extravagance with the need to keep up her appearance. The psychological influence of status aligned with the abundance of contrast in our values and the irony of its expressions. From abstract drawings from her concept to innovative shapes. These shapes are the core of her work and are implemented in silhouette and print. A collection almost entirely made out of waste material.

Together with Yana Engelbrecht and Daan Kamphorst we teamed up to create a short fashion film and photography. Which has been documented at no better place then; her grandmothers house.

Be WaterWiseIn collaboration with Bureau Cambio Graphic design | Branding | Prototyping
Be WaterWise is a nudging campaign developed for colleges and universities. The various nudges were designed to raise awareness about water consumption at these institutions. The goal of the campaign was to make the target audience more conscious of their water use and thereby reduce consumption. This campaign was successfully implemented at five different universities and colleges in the Netherlands.

"Being young and dealing with cancer don't go hand in hand. When you're young, you want to move forward; your life is under construction. Education, work, financial independence, relationships, family—the goal is to steadily continue growing. Cancer is, at the very least, a hindrance, but if you're unlucky, the disease sets you back for years. Not keeping pace with your peers is disruptive, but sometimes having to adjust your pace—taking half a step back or a quick extra one—can also yield something. It's not always visible on the outside, but it's consistently felt on the inside.

It's challenging that, in the quest to rediscover the fluid motion, you often find yourself relying on your own resources and sometimes have no idea of the right direction. Where is the targeted support that you so desperately need?"

Soilicious is a sustainable soil improver that contains no artificial additives. This soil is also known as the "Golden Mix." For this sustainable fertilizer, a brand identity and branding needed to be developed, including packaging design for consumers. The branding was required to have an appearance similar to that of Tony's Chocolonely. In this branding, the character Charlie was introduced: a worm who lives a pleasant and fun life in this sustainable soil improver.
